Roberta A. Otten is an adjunct instructor for the Theatre & Dance Department at Lansing Community College in Lansing Michigan. She teaches Modern Dance and Movement for Actors. Ms. Otten holds a B.S. in Physical Education & Dance, an M.A. in Education; and she is a member of the Interplay Leaders Circle. Her 25+ year career includes sharing dance in a variety of community and educational organizations; and with mentally and physically challenged students. She has choreographed for the LCC Dance Department's concerts, elementary school music productions, dance as worship, Happendance, for Kenneth Beachler at Blue Lake Fine Arts Camp, Sunsets with Shakespeare and numerous LCC theatre productions.  Roberta is a three-time nominee for a Pulsar Choreography Award and earned the 2006-7 Award for her choreography in LCC’s production of “The Many Deaths of Shakespeare”.  Since 2004 she has voluntarily directed, choreographed and performed in January S’Moves, an annual concert of dance, story and song which raises funds for theatre and dance student scholarships at LCC
